Together We Make is co-created by producer and label owner Mike Holliday and mixed media artist Lola Evelyn Ives. Each is arriving at this new and innovative project from different yet interconnected sides of the creative spectrum, bringing their own take on creativity and its importance to the centre of Together We Make.

Mike has been creating in the UK music industry for over 10 years, with a talent for forging unique and powerful sounds through his production under various aliases. He works as one half of the electronic music duo Mystic State and has also co-created a growing, independent record label named The Moth Club here in Bristol. The Moth Club showcases an inspiring variety of underground electronic music and is at the forefront of the dub techno sound in the UK.

Lola is a mixed media artist who works with a variety of disciplines such as; sculpture, collage, drawing, creative writing, and performance to forge her ever-expanding array of projects. She explores the materiality and symbolism of objects and materials, shape and imagery. Drawing upon their innate essences to amalgamate an energetic and visual language, which desires to invoke thoughts towards ecological and human liberation.

Mike and Lola both have their roots within the Cosmic Soul Collective, a group of creatives who brought vibrant and energetic events to Bristol’s scene between 2016 and 2019, bringing together their love and need for both art and music within their community. Like many who were once apart of creating the Cosmic Soul Collective legacy, Mike and Lola are now evolving with new projects such as this, with huge gratitude for the knowledge learned and experiences shared with all involved during the Cosmic Soul days.
